Feeling Safe at Corton House

Posted on by Imogen Bowers
A group of Norwich care home residents discuss what makes them feel safe living in Corton House with staff members. There are papers on the table and everyone looks thoughful.

"My daughter says to me, 'You couldn't be in a better place to make sure you're feeling safe.' I do feel safe... We take it for granted."

We held a really insightful workshop with some of our residents recently, on what feeling safe here at Corton House means to them. There was lots of thoughtful feedback including some suggestions to include in the next iteration of our Resident Handbooks to make sure everyone living here is empowered and has all the information they need.

Everyone agreed workshops like this were a great way to exchange ideas, so we'll be holding more workshops on different topics soon!
